“What is Tai Chi?” Documentary Film

Well this is a big event for us! Although we have published a number of smaller videos recently, this is a much bigger project and full documentary talking about one of our favorite arts, Tai Chi.

The documentary was produced and directed by Michael Rhine, written and hosted Sifu Jensen, edited by Steve Eagleton (the Emmy award winning network TV editor – that Steve Eagleton) with camera work by Director of Photography Rachel Jensen. Filming this documentary took place in China, Taiwan, San Francisco and Marin County over several years. Locations included the Taoist temples atop the Wudang Mountains, the birthplace of Tai Chi, the 3rd World Internal Martial Arts Championship; Tainan, Taiwan, the religious and cultural hub of Taiwan, and San Francisco Chinatown and Golden Gate Park.

This film features an interview with Zhong Yun Long the High Priest of Wudang Mountain and head of Zhang San Feng Cult that worships the founder of Tai Chi Taoist saint Zhang San Feng as a deity. Sifu Jensen does many beautiful performances. Learn about of the art of Tai chi and share with your friends!
