Here at 10,000 Victories Productions we have been working hard to create a new Ba Gua Zhang Online Course for you!
We have been super busy shooting lots of great video including theory, clear instructions with plenty of details, and lots of actual exercise performances and follow along sections.
Our plan is to create a Tea Room for everyone to join and start studying together. We will do a minimum of an 8 week course, since it is 8 Diagram Palms and there are also 8 “Palms” you practice. Each week there will be new lessons and new follow along workouts. As long as the class is ongoing you can watch the previous lessons and review and practice more. This is a progressive’s course where we will attempt to move together as a group.
To help everyone there will be plenty of space to comment and support one another underneath every lesson.
In addition, you will have highly motivating assistance of your very own Scottish Ba Gua Zhang group leader, Henry Geddes, with his unique and colorful Scottish vocabulary!
I would also love to see people find a training buddy for mutual daily support. Finding real instruction in this incredible martial art was not easy and entailed testing quite a few lesser instructors until I met Zhang Hua Sen. Zhang was truly inspiring and unforgettable. China is not producing people like him at this time, to my knowledge. But his life was so exceptionally difficult it is wonderful that the condition of the average persons life in China has improved.
I have found Zhang’s teachings to be an authentic and truthful link to a nearly lost vein of pure martial gold. Hopefully, we can preserve this awesome lineage for future generations.
