Dragon’s Dance has Won its First Film Festival award. Dragon’s Dance is Sean Lim’s student film to complete his film degree, featuring a cast of 10,000 Victories Instructors and Team Members. Sean Lim entered it in the Indie Short Fest of Los Angeles International Short Film Festival in the student film category. Where it was first selected, then nominated, and now has won an “Honorable Mention” award. Since the only higher award is “Outstanding achievement” and only one of each is given out we think winning the Honorable Mention is pretty awesome. Go Sean! Go Team!
In addition, the Dragon’s Dance was also nominated for best original score under production awards! Since this was not in the student category the original score (soundtrack music) was competing against all entries and not only the student films.
The International Film Festival is a major international film festival. This festival holds a monthly event featuring worthy films from all over the world and a large red carpet event with public showings each year where the monthly winners compete for the grand prizes and trophies. We hope “Dragon’s Dance makes it onto the awards stage and a showing in Los Angeles at the final festival of the year.
