Journeying to the high passes of the Sierras, the 10,000 Victories Team of Sifu and Simu created an inspiring series of Tai Chi and Qigong follow along videos for you, our friends and fans, and our local and online students. On the shores of Lake Tenaya Simu Rachel Jensen did a wonderful job as camera operator. Lake Tenaya’s natural beauty brings it fame from photographers and scenic beauty lovers worldwide. We were able to capture the glacier smoothed granite peaks of the Sierra Mountains gracefully sloping into the pure mountain lake water. The trees are magnificent, and the entire setting is peaceful and serene with a gentle fall sun and a tiny breeze of beautiful fresh air. An ideal place to practice the life nourishing and health promoting arts of Tai Chi Chuan, Ba Gua Zhang, and Qigong.

When you find locations like this and conditions are perfect, such as they were on this day that we filmed, you can expect to have an incredible experience. Creating the occasion to find yourself in these powerful and pure places is inspiring. Planting your feet, rooting yourself and then focusing your mind deeply and completely on your breath and your movement creates a blissful, calming, and rejuvenating wave of healing. Our hope was to bring some of that feeling of mountain purity and beauty to wherever you are practicing and share the inspiration, beauty, and hope we felt there with you wherever you are.

Sifu Jensen performed the Yin Yang Acupoint Slapping Qigong and a full Tornado Core Exercise Set from the Art of Ba Gua Zhang (Eight Diagram Palm). Sifu also performed the Five Element Qigong from Xing Yi Quan (Form and Will Boxing). In addition, Sifu Jensen gave Tai Chi lovers their favorites the Swimming Dragon Qigong, Prebirth Qigong with all four stages shown, and Relaxing Tendons, Floating Bones Qigong. All of these will become part of our Online Academy content and some we will share with you here in our newsletter. So, Keep your eyes on the newsletter and on our YouTube channel for these new follow along Qigong videos.

Following a short break, we moved our camera location and did two new setups at another amazingly beautiful location on Lake Tenaya. At both of these camera locations Sifu Jensen performed the 10,000 Victories Tai Chi Long Form. In one shot he is framed by the gentle, powerful granite mountain peaks behind him. In the other the lake water shimmers and sparkles behind him with a magical view of the peaks of Yosemite Valley and Half Dome in the distance. Both of these are 17 minute follow along performances of the entire 10,000 Victories Tai Chi Long Form. Every movement and posture is carefully and slowly demonstrated and displayed so you can practice with Sifu wherever you are or use as a reference. Look forward to seeing this footage both here in part and in the 10,000 Victories Online Academy in full.
