USA Traditional Team Trials – World Championships in Hong Kong

July 18th Sifu Jensen competed in the USA Official Traditional Kung Fu Team Trials in San Jose, CA and won one Gold and two Silver medals placing him on the USA Team.  This team will compete in the World Kung Fu Championships in Hong Kong in March of 2016. This is the largest martial arts tournament in the world. This event is attended by major action movie stars, directors, and talent scouts. 

Sifu Jensen won the Gold medal for his performance of the Northern Shaolin Kwan Dao form. Kwan Dao is a huge pole arm with an enormous blade and thick pole. This weapon requires great strength and control to wield. 

Sifu Jensen also won Silver medals for his performance of the “Form and Will Boxing Great Connecting Links” aka Xing YI Quan Da Lian Huan, a 99 move form containing all the animals and elements found in Xing Yi Quan. Sifu Jensen second Silver medal was for the Northern Shaolin Double Sabers.
