Private lessons, deep-study seminars, and one-on-one guidance in San Rafael
Group classes are the foundation of training at 10,000 Victories.
They provide the structure, repetition, and shared environment necessary for steady, long-term development.
At certain stages, however, some aspects of training benefit from a different format — more focused attention, deeper exploration, or a pace that isn’t tied to weekly class progression.
These offerings are not separate from the system.
They are extensions of the same training, applied with greater precision and depth.
“Sifu Jensen’s monthly Push Hands workshops have greatly improved my movement and balance when practicing Tai Chi… these are the primary movements of the art, brought fully to life in a pushing hands workshop.”
— Dr. Nubby Shober
Some areas of training require time and continuity to truly understand.
Rather than introducing them briefly within regular classes, these subjects are offered as dedicated seminar series.
A seminar series focuses on a specific art, method, or principle, studied in depth over time — often meeting once per month across several months.
This format allows for:
Seminar topics may include specialized Qigong systems, internal training methods, classical forms, or advanced training principles not currently covered in group classes.
These are not introductory workshops.
They are structured study tracks for students who want to go deeper into a particular area of the system.
For students interested in deeper study, new seminar series are announced through the 10,000 Victories newsletter.
Some aspects of progress require direct, individual attention.
A posture that isn’t aligning correctly.
A movement pattern that isn’t resolving.
A physical limitation that needs to be worked with carefully and precisely.
Private lessons provide the space for Sifu Jensen to observe how you move, identify what is limiting your development, and guide specific corrections in real time.
Students typically use private sessions to:
This is not a different kind of training.
It is the same system — with the full attention placed on your development.
If you’re interested in private training, please reach out with a brief note about your background, what you’re currently working on, and what you’d like help with.
Some people reach a point where what they are working through isn’t only physical.
These sessions are focused conversations with Sifu Jensen — grounded in over forty years of training, teaching, and lived experience — to help clarify questions related to mindset, discipline, energy management, and how principles of training apply to daily life.
The work is not general life coaching.
It is rooted in the same principles that guide the physical training, adapted to the individual.
Sessions are shaped by what you bring.
They may focus on navigating a challenging period, developing greater clarity and direction, or understanding how to build sustainable habits of practice and growth.
These sessions are open to both current students and those new to the training.
