The Dragon’s Dance: Synopsis
The Immortal holder of secret knowledge, Sifu Yang, cultivates chi as he awaits an
experiment of cosmic proportion, in the light of a dawning sun. His loyal disciples, The Chao
brothers and Yin Sisters, masters of martial arts, practice Tai Chi.
As the sisters initiate sparring, Sifu Yang turns the two Yin Yang spheres, manipulating
the fight’s dynamic. Each form appears as a symbolic reflection of duality’s dance. He observes
them with scientific precision, feeling deeply into the currents of polarity of which he wishes to
fully master. The Yin’s realize the spheres dark power over them, when sparring transforms into
life or death.
As the full moon rises to its pinnacle, the sisters seize its power and retaliate. Sifu throws
the spheres into sky as a Kung Fu formation of mystic symmetry manifests. After vicious warring
between sisters and brother, only the Yins and Sifu Yang remain. The harmonious connection
the sisters share challenge Sifu, not in strength, but in strategic wits. The two tigers play with
their prey.
Analyzing, their every step, Yang penetrates Lee Yin’s weakness. Knowing she would
die for her sister, he lures Lee to her doom, bursting her heart. Sifu stands quietly as Hua Yin
mornes her beloved. Letting remorse rise only momentarily before donning the mask of
conviction.
The wind weeps with Hua as she rises, sturdy as a mountain. Joining with forces of
nature, slipping into trance, her body attacks like a dragon, inspiring awe in her victim. A god
like wind mirror her movements.
Ascertaining one of the Yin Yang spheres, Hua puts them on even ground. The masters
spar in endless continuity into the forest behind them.
Awe turns to reverence. Reverence to admiration. Touching the edge of death a
connection bonds them in warfare. As Hua’s neck nearly splits, Sifu surprises them both, saving
her. They share in a deep gaze of recognition.
Hua rolls from his grasp, retreating to the forest’s depths. Sifu stands alone, illuminated
by the moon’s soft light. Feeling deeply into his sphere, he allows it to guide him.
A dragon swirls around the moon’s reflection in a still pool of water. Sifu witnesses the
magnificent creature transform to a god like wind that sways even the mightiest trees. The
currents amplify in intensity, throwing Sifu round as he struggles for control.
The wind and him dance in mystic martial art. A hand offers a brilliant yellow flower,
unswayed by the winds, but Sifu continues to grapple with his invisible opponent. He hurls his
fist, with the power of 10000 suns, into an oncoming wave of forest demolishing currents. His
strike kills the wind and with it Hua, who holds the beautiful flower.
Tears stream silently, as the first rays of lights permeate the dusk fog. He holds Hua’s
limp hand. Between her fingers lies the flower. It falls into Sifu’s palms as Hua vanishes into air.
He meditates as birds sing to the sunrise.
A hand touches his shoulder. Emerging from quiessence, he finds himself standing
amongst his disciples on a hillside of spring flowers. Hua offers him a dandy lion. The warriors’
eyes slowly open, as Sifu wipes tears from his. They practice Kung Fu, forming an intricate Yin
Yang symbol.
