Dear family and friends,
Our apologies for missing the last two newsletters. I had to make an emergency trip back home to Taiwan. Luckily, what started as a cause for concern dissolved beautifully into a heartwarming family reunion. Everyone is fine and healthy, and no medical interventions were needed.
I had been dealing with an on-and-off toothache for about two weeks. Seeing no major improvements, my husband immediately booked me a flight to Taiwan for a dental visit. You may think it’s a long way to go for dental work, but trust me, it’s worth the travel. In my experience, dental care in Taiwan is superior and much more reasonably priced.
The funny thing was, my toothaches started subsiding as soon as I was on the plane. And when I rushed to my appointment right after landing, the dentist couldn’t find anything wrong with my teeth.
It had been about 6 years since I last went home to visit. What began as an emergency turned out to be a profound blessing in disguise. My trip was filled with love, healing, and precious moments with family. Sometimes the Universe has its way of nudging us into taking drastic actions to receive unexpected blessings.
My wish for everyone is to listen to those gentle nudges from the Universe, even when they appear as challenges. May you find the courage to step through doors of uncertainty, for they often lead to gardens of joy. Remember that time with loved ones is the most precious gift we have – don’t wait for emergencies to create those moments of connection. Let’s cherish each opportunity to express our love, bridge the distances, and nurture the bonds that make life truly meaningful.
With gratitude and renewed spirit,
Rachel Jensen
