Our holiday party this year was really special. Lynn’s 100-year-old home was not only beautiful, but also the perfect space for gathering, full of character, warmth, beautifully decorated, and a sense of timelessness that invited everyone to slow down and simply be.

We shared nourishing, delicious food, had long, meaningful conversations, and genuinely enjoyed each other’s company. There was so much presence in the room that we all realized afterward… we forgot to take photos. No phones out. No documenting. Just people, together.

Maybe we’re a little anti–social media 😉
Not everything needs to be shown off or captured for display. Some moments are meant to be lived, not posted.

In a world that constantly nudges us to think about visibility, productivity, or doing things “the right way,” this gathering was a quiet reminder of something simpler and deeper: the value of being present, connecting heart to heart, and giving our full attention to the people in front of us.

That, to us, is what community is about: showing up, being present, and caring for one another.

These are sunrise pictures as I was on my way back to US from Taiwan.
